Book Launch:

Former PC 6252 Kim White, nee Richards, held a book launch of her autobiography at Kings Sports Centre, Rochester on Friday 28th September.

It was not possible to circulate the event in advance but any colleagues wishing to purchase a copy of the book should contact Kim directly via email: kimithirteen@gmail.com.

Obituaries: The new system of notifying obituaries on the website is now well established giving timely information on funeral arrangements. The short format is retained but a link is added directing to the Member’s Page which is password protected and gives access to the formal obituary notification from FHQ. The password was circulated previously, via email, but if not received (or lost) members should contact Medway@narpo.org for the password which is universal but for members only.

Pre-Retirement Course: Follow this link for information on a pre-retirement event “Retirement – Shaping The Future” to be held on 17th October 2026 at the Cornwallis Suite, Tovil, Maidstone.

The course is aimed at serving officers about to retire and those who retired in the past 18 months or so. Not probably applicable to our members but the Branch supported the event with a membership pro-rata contribution of £78.00.
